Sergeant Parry Day at Jugiong is a celebration of Jugiong's history. November 16 1864 is the day that represents the battle between The Hall gang - Ben Hall, Johnny Gilbert, and John Dunn - and Sergeant Parry. The Hall Gang held up a mail coach between Gundagai and Jugiong and shot and killed 32 year-old Sergeant Edmund Parry (1832 to 1864). Located in the heart of this thriving Village is the monument dedicated to this brave Police Officer. The monument was erected in 2012 in Memorial Park as part of the Village Celebrations of 150 years of Policing in NSW....Tourism Gold Coast welcomes Sergeant Parry Day, the ideal Jugiong NSW Holiday outlet for all the family to enjoy. We have made sure that we have thought of everything you would expect from your vacation with many features, click on the email or phone now button to get in touch with the owner.
